The Role: Digital Trading Assistant
As a Digital Trading Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management, site trading, and optimisation for the ASOS website(s) across devices. This includes:
- Site merchandising
- Navigation updates
- Search configuration
You will report into the Digital Trading Specialist and support trade while helping to optimise customer journeys, balancing commercial & brand priorities to maximise the onsite customer experience and drive conversion for your focused market and categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Support as a Category Specialist:
- Help to elevate product assortment priorities across the customer journey, ensuring a seamless experience across all global markets.
- Maintain website standards to maximise business performance and customer journey experiences.
- Become a subject matter expert within your assigned pillar, growing your expertise while educating the wider e-commerce team on your specialised area.
- Analyse and report:
- Produce and analyse detailed sales, site, and channel reports by market to optimise customer journeys and ensure relevant product positioning and categorisation.
- Support Site Optimisation:
- Assist the Digital Trading Specialist in managing and optimising category and navigation structures across all channels and devices.
- Support the management of onsite search, ensuring optimal configuration across markets and enhancing the search experience.
- Event and Campaign Support:
- Work with Digital Trading Specialists to ensure the smooth execution of selling strategies during key events and campaigns.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to support and execute trade events and initiatives.
- Additional Tasks:
- Support campaign launches, rollout of new features, and digital products.
- Assist with Homepage and promotional processes.
- Manage wider stakeholder engagements.

- Organisational and coordination skills
- Preferable (not required) experience using online merchandising systems
- Competence in technology-based systems and proficiency in a tech-enabled environment.
