Digital Transformation Product Lead

Location: Reading
Duration: Initial 6 Months
Contract Type: Inside IR35 Day Rate

A unique opportunity to bridge Digital Product and Digital Transformation at scale.
Primark is looking for an experienced Digital Transformation Product Lead to bring product thinking, customer-centricity, and digital expertise into some of our most strategic transformation programmes.

This is a highly visible, multi-faceted role sitting at the intersection of Digital Product, Technology, and Transformation. You'll act as the bridge between large-scale transformation initiatives and digital product delivery, ensuring programmes are focused on delivering measurable customer, commercial, and business outcomes.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in Digital Product, ideally within eCommerce or customer-facing digital channels, who understands how to apply product thinking to complex enterprise-wide technology transformations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Shape and influence major transformation programmes through a product-led approach
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Digital, Product, Operations, and Transformation
  • Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, and Delivery teams
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear customer, colleague, operational, and commercial outcomes
  • Challenge priorities, investment decisions, and programme scope to maximise value delivery
  • Embed modern product practices, customer-centricity, and outcome-driven ways of working across the organisation

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years' experience in Product Management, Digital Transformation, Digital Delivery, or Technology Strategy roles
  • Strong Digital Product experience with a background in eCommerce, customer experience, or digital channels
  • Proven experience working on large-scale technology transformation programmes and complex enterprise change initiatives
  • Deep understanding of Product Management principles and their application within transformation environments
  • Experience operating across a broad range of technology domains, products, and business functions
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills
