Cybersecurity Managing Consultant | Digital Trust & Security (DT&S) – Capgemini Invent

Your Role

The Invent Digital Trust & Security (DT&S) practice focuses on ensuring secure business outcomes for clients, providing cybersecurity advisory and transformation consulting in key areas:

  • Security strategy
  • Risk management
  • Human risk management
  • Data and identity security
  • Secure intelligent industry
  • Gen-AI risk
  • Security operations modernisation

Our security specialists enable clients to: ✔ Evaluate cyber risks ✔ Redesign cybersecurity operating models ✔ Modernise digital identity capabilities ✔ Lead security culture change programs ✔ Transform security and compliance regimes to make them efficient, effective, sustainable, and resilient


We’re Looking for Experienced Managing Consultants at the following levels:

1. Security Assurance

  • Lead delivery of key frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials) for clients
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory obligations
  • Tailor implementations to meet unique client risk profiles
  • Guide teams and align strategies with industry and business needs

2. Security Architecture

  • Improve enterprise/application security through:
    • Assessment of existing architectures
    • Design and implementation of effective, secure patterns
    • Alignment with benchmarks (e.g., CIS L1/2, NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT)

3. Generative AI

  • Enable secure design and adoption of Gen AI for business, IT, or security functions
  • Compliance with evolving regulations (EU AI Act, GDPR, DORA, etc.)

Your responsibilities as an experienced consultant:

  • Drive cybersecurity transformations for clients
  • Address strategic, organisational, and human aspects of cybersecurity
  • Influence boards/CxOs in security strategies
  • Conduct threat modelling, risk management, and security maturity assessments
  • Develop new security strategies for cloud, agile, and DevSecOps environments
  • Translate technical concepts for business value appeal
  • Lead conversations with security, IT, and business stakeholders
  • Deliver services including:
    • Security strategy
    • Governance
    • Security testing
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
    • Security architecture
    • Privacy
    • Cyber data analytics

Growth and Development Opportunities:

  • Business Development:
    • Proposals, RFPs, client pitches, proposition development, hosting engagements
  • Informal sales target (£0.5m soft target)
  • Internal contributions:
    • Campaigns, think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development
  • Learning & Development:
    • Training, certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Azure, Scaled Agile)
    • Flexibility to grow expertise in technical domains of interest

Your Profile

We seek a cybersecurity expert with:

Core Requirements:

✅ Experience in 1+ cybersecurity domains, e.g.:

  • Security & Risk Management
  • Security Architecture
  • Application Security
  • Network/Communications Security
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Compliance Assurance
  • Threat Intelligence & Analysis
  • Generative AI security governance

✅ Key experience areas:

  • SOC teams, Operational Technology (OT) security
  • Security operational model transformations
  • Cybersecurity assessments & cultural change programs
  • Experience with cloud, DevSecOps, and hybrid environments

✅ Technical/Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Core cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
  • Compliance with regulations (e.g., NIS2, GDPR, FCA, Bank of England, DORA)
  • Gen AI security enablement or protection awareness

✅ Qualifications & Background:

  • Preferred certifications: CISSP / CISM
  • Background in consulting or cybersecurity roles (preferred over alternate industries)
  • Demonstrated success in matrixed organisations
