Digital Web Manager
Location: Hybrid – 3 days at Wilmslow, 2 days from home

Role Overview
We’re looking for an ambitious Digital Web Manager to drive and optimise the digital experience across our market-leading brands.
Our websites are key commercial assets—driving leads, engaging customers, and supporting every step of the customer journey. Expertise lies at the heart of what we deliver and you’ll own website performance, improve conversion, and ensure every digital touchpoint authentically reflects our brands.
You’ll work across SEO, AEO, CRO, CRM, content, and technology, driving continuous improvements, managing development partners, and ensuring our websites are fast, effective, and future-ready. This role sits at the intersection between commercial priorities and outstanding customer experience, driving lead generation while delivering sites that consistently reflect our brand quality.
Key Responsibilities
Rounding Off Website Health
You’ll own the performance of our websites across multiple brands, ensuring consistency while adapting to meet business objectives. This includes:
- Monitoring and maintaining website health and performance for commercial impact.
- Maximising lead generation through optimisation.
- Deep understanding of the user experience and optimisation of customer journeys.
- Improving website quality and consistency across all sites.
- Enacting technical improvements and continuous optimisation.
- Treating websites as living products to foster growth and adaptation.

Directing Website Development
You’ll manage website development roadmapping, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution.
- Prioritising development projects and delivering measurable value.
- Translating business requirements into clear actionable briefs.
- Managing technical delivery from external agencies.
- Balancing quick wins with long-term improvements to enhance UX.
- Ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
Collaborate closely with CRO and SEO teams to refine site performance and boost conversions.
- Identifying opportunities to improve conversion and customer engagement.
- Supporting testing programmes and data-driven decision-making.
- Analysing customer behaviour and recommending UX improvements.
- Improving customer journeys, assessing landing page performance, and refining messaging.
- Implementing structured optimisation learnings across brands.
Brand Expression
Own the alignment between our digital presence and brand integrity.
- Representing each brand accurately across all websites.
- Ensuring content is well-structured, easy to navigate, and purposeful.
- Maintaining consistent messaging and brand guidelines.
- Collaborating with Brand and Content teams to deliver cohesive digital journeys.
SEO, Technical Optimisation & AI Readiness
Partner with SEO and AEO teams to elevate our sites with technical excellence.
- Ensuring websites are technically optimised for search engines.
- Improving internal linking, simplicity, and structural improvements.
- Implementing schema markup and refining page performance.
- Future-proofing sites for AI search innovations.
- Ensuring content best practices to maximise results.
Data-Driven Insights
Use analytical data to make informed adjustments and prioritizations.
- Monitoring website traffic, user behaviour, conversion performance, and engagement metrics.
- Assessing technical performance and its impact on UX.
- Capturing insights to turn them into measurable digital improvements and impactful outcomes.
- Making working recommendations with stakeholders based on actionable data.

Stakeholder & Agency Management
Collaborate across Marketing, Technology, and the wider business.
- Managing and engaging with external development agencies.
- Co-ordinating multiple website projects simultaneously.
- Prioritising requests to achieve organisational goals.
- Ensuring clear progression reporting and impact measurement.
- Motivating teams to meet deadlines on projects that deliver visible results.
About You
You’re a hands-on digital journeys enthusiast, unafraid to tackle data-driven decisions to improve UX and lead outcomes.
We’re looking for a commercially astute professional who balances customer-centric insights with technical literacy when presenting ideas to both marketing and technical teams.
Experience:
✔ Working within a B2B, multibrand, or enterprise digital environment. ✔ Advanced CMS knowledge, preferably WordPress. ✔ Strong website UX & Kundenanalytics insight. ✔ Experience with web analytics platforms (GA4, Looker Studio, or others). ✔ Deep understanding of CRO principles and conversion techniques. ✔ Awareness of SEO best practices and technical site improvements. ✔ Comfortable managing agencies, developers, and projects from start to finish. ✔ Strong project management, communication and stakeholder influence skills.
