Head of Digital Workplace (Workplace Technology & AI)
MPB is the world's largest platform for used photo and video kit. We're scaling fast across the UK, US and Europe—and the way our people work, collaborate and use technology needs to scale with us. This role exists to make that happen.
What you'll actually be doing
You’ll own MPB’s digital workplace—the tools, the platforms, the ways of working—and you’ll shape what that looks like for today and for tomorrow.
- Make smart decisions about the technology we use, the vendors we partner with, and the processes that help 550+ people across multiple markets do their best work.
- AI sits at the core—not just in theory, but in practice. You’ll embed AI-powered tooling, identify efficiencies, and drive adoption so teams use it effectively.
- Work across stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions that are practical and well-adopted.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and license optimisation to maximise ROI.
This isn’t about maintaining the status quo—it’s about defining the future.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, integration and optimisation of all centrally-owned workplace tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Monday.com, Claude, ChatGPT and more).
- Drive AI adoption across the business by embedding new ways of working that stick.
- Manage vendor relationships, licences and budgets, reducing duplication and maximising value.
- Work within MPB’s SaaS Governance Framework to ensure secure and compliant tool adoption.
- Own the workplace technology roadmap, aligning it with business priorities and future AI capabilities.
- Act as the subject matter expert—advising on best practice, spotting opportunities and proactively driving innovation.
- Partner with IT and stakeholders to translate requirements into adopted solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
