Digital Workplace Lead
Head of Digital Workplace (Partnering with AI & Team Technology)
About the Role
MPB is the world’s largest platform for used photo and video kit. We’re scaling rapidly across the UK, US and Europe—and our people, collaboration, and technology must scale with us.
This role exists to shape how 550+ employees across multiple markets leverage technology to work smarter, faster, and more innovatively. AI is central—not just a buzzword, but a priority—to unlock efficiency, enhance workflows, and embed intelligent tools that stick.
You’ll own MPB’s digital workplace ecosystem, defining its roadmap, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring adoption of tools that drive real impact.
This is not about maintaining the status quo—it’s about defining how we work for tomorrow.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Lead the implementation, integration, and optimisation of centralised workplace tools:
- Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Meet)
- Slack
- Zoom
- Atlassian (Jira, Confluence)
- Monday.com
- AI-powered assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, and more)
- Drive AI adoption across the business by embedding new ways of working and ensuring practical, relevant use cases
- Manage vendor relationships, licenses, and budgets with a focus on reducing duplication and maximising ROI
- Work within MPB’s SaaS Governance Framework, ensuring secure, well-governed onboarding and lifecycle management of tools
- Own the workplace technology roadmap, aligning it with business goals and future AI advancements
- Act as the SME for workplace technology: advising on best practices, identifying opportunities, and pre-empting stakeholder needs
- Partner daily with IT and across the business to translate requirements into adopted, user-friendly solutions
Who You Are
- Proven experience leading digital workplace environments—you know what "good" looks like, but you’re comfortable challenging the status quo and trying new approaches
- Strategic thinker who can execute fast and get things done without endless permission-seeking
- Fluent in business and tech language—you listen first, solve second, and follow through consistently
- Trusted advisor who builds stakeholder confidence by understanding their needs and proving real-world value
- Practically excited by AI—you don’t just understand it; you experiment, test, and advocate for meaningful adoption
- Must-have soft skills: patience, clear communication, and the ability to turn vision into action

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
