Direct Response Copywriter (Funnels & Landing Pages) – UK-Based (Remote)

Our partner company is seeking a Direct Response Copywriter specialising in funnels and landing pages, fully remote and based in the United Kingdom.

This fast-paced, AI-driven role focuses on creating high-converting landing pages, performance-driven copy assets, and direct-response marketing content that scale with paid acquisition results for multiple e-commerce brands.

You’ll design advertorials, comparison pages, listicles, and product-focused landing pages targeting high-intent users, collaboratively pushing conversion rates and campaign success while leveraging AI tools for efficiency.

About the Role

The ideal candidate is a results-driven copywriter and strategist who thrives in a data-heavy, experimental environment. You’ll bridge the gap between creative messaging and performance marketing, ensuring every landing page disappears the gap between user needs, competition, and revenue opportunity.

You’ll need to be highly collaborative, working side-by-side with media buyers and performance marketers to craft messaging layers that align to campaign intent across multiple traffic sources. At scale.

A deep understanding of AI-driven tools, A/B testing methodologies, and conversion psychology are essential—obviously.

You’re not a traditional content marketer, copywriter, or even a brand writer. This shot-of-wire copy demands direct-response fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end landing page strategy, messaging, execution, and optimization across major paid campaigns (PPC, social ads, affidative, paid media).
  • Write high-converting assets:
    • advertorials (remote product review showcases)
    • comparison pages (competitor advantage drivers)
    • listicle-style sales narratives (SEO friendly but meant to convert fast)
    • product-focused landing pages (media-focused, psychographic level)
  • Define audience segmentation hooks based on وجدت intent analyses (cold traffic to consider first-purchase proof).
  • Collaborate with media buyers to ensure messaging complements ad copy, CTAs, and traffic conserving.
  • Deploy AI tools (e.g., Jasper, CopyAI, manufacturing, or ChatGPT) to dramatically scale first-direction drafts and rapid-revision iterations.
  • Competitive jungles & consumer insights: Utilise research to craft messaging strategies that combat objections and emotional barriers.
  • Monitor performance, iterate relentlessly, and run A/B experiments to systematically improve conversion rates and ROAS.

Qualifications & Experience

Must Have (Required Experience & Skills): ✔ Proven track record of driving high conversions on direct-response landing pages in DTC, e-commerce, or performance marketing environments. ✔ Acute mastery of persuasion principles (benefit-driven messaging, problem sales, urgency triggers) and conversion frameworks. ✔ Hands-on high-intent copywriting for ad copy → funnel pages → post-view prompts (e.g., articles protected by a "premium/X bonus/guarantee" overlay). ✔ Experience with comparison pages and/or listicles that convince users provably-why one option trumps competition. ✔ Experience using AI-powered tools (ChatGPT, Jasper,CLAUDE,) Jasper, DeepL, manuscript, and other LLMs) to structure dialog and brainstorm copyhooks quickly. ✔ Passion and skill with conversion rate optimization (CRO): A/B testing best practices, metrics interpretation (CTR, CPA → CR, exit stages). ✔ Adept at translating data insights into high-converting value propositions (e.g., heatmaps, scroll depths, survey feedback).

Nice to Have (Preferred Technical/Area Experience): ✅

  • Google Ads (responsive search + Shopping funnels)
  • Landing page builders: Unbounce, Instapage, Webflow, or landing page-based platforms.
  • Direct affiliation marketing expertise (affiliate content-US influencer blogs).
  • Immersive shopping languag: native ad copywriting with "sponsored" tone/transparency.
