Business Advisory Services Director
Meraki Talent is proud to be partnering with a highly respected local firm to appoint a Business Advisory Services Director. This is a rare chance to progress into equity partnership and shape the future of a growing practice.
The Firm:
Our client is a leading name in the local market, trusted by a long-standing client base that spans some of the region’s most recognisable businesses. With steady year-on-year growth over the past five years, the firm has built a reputation not only for technical excellence but also for forward-thinking, commercially driven advice. Their ambition is matched by their track record, combining strong roots in the community with a sharp vision for the next stage of expansion.
The Role:
The position will focus primarily on business services, financial reporting, and high-level business advisory, but goes far beyond compliance. While you will oversee business services and financial reporting, the true focus lies in delivering strategic advisory support that shapes the future of clients’ businesses. You will work closely with ambitious business owners and leadership teams, guiding them through key decisions, growth plans, and operational challenges.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
