About Nothing
Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again.
We’re building a different kind of technology company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do. From the way our products look and feel to how we communicate and show up in culture, we believe technology should make you feel something.
Founded in London in 2020, we’ve grown from idea to global challenger in just a few years. Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, and C Ventures, and investors like Tony Fadell (iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’re now sold in 40+ markets with millions of users worldwide.
About the role
We're building the platform that lets developers create across the Nothing ecosystem, and we're looking for a Director to own it. You'll shape the product, the developer experience, and the relationships that decide whether developers choose to build with us.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a hands-on leadership role at the centre of where Nothing is heading. You'll own the roadmap, work closely with engineering on what gets built, and partner with developers to make Nothing a place they want to build on.
What you'll do
- Own the product roadmap for our developer platform, end to end.
- Shape the APIs, SDKs and integration surfaces that make building on Nothing the obvious choice.
- Work closely with engineering to get the platform to a genuinely good place.
- Bring third-party developers and partners onto the platform and help them go from interested to live.
- Drive adoption across our product teams and the external developer community.
- Own the metrics that show the platform is working, and keep the team pointed at them.

What we're looking for
- You've owned a developer-facing or platform product end to end, including how it gets adopted, not just the surface.
- You have strong instincts for developer experience: APIs, SDKs, documentation, and the speed of building against a platform.
- You can sit with engineering as a peer and make the product calls that get a technical surface to a good place.
- You've driven adoption across teams and partners through influence and shared incentives, not mandate.
- You're fluent in the modern AI and agent tooling landscape, or you can get there fast.
- You take real ownership, hold a high bar, and stay pragmatic about what to ship now versus later.
