About the Role
Gartner AI & Advanced Data Practice operates at the intersection of visionary insight and rigorous analysis, shaping how organizations harness technology to solve their most pressing challenges. As Senior Manager, you’ll create and deliver innovative business solutions that help CHROs navigate critical talent challenges, blending strategic foresight with hands-on expertise.
This individual contributor role within Gartner’s Human Resources (HR) Practice is dedicated to advancing Talent Acquisition (TA) strategies for AI, APAC sourcing, and emerging technologies. As a thought leader, you’ll drive pragmatic, independent research that reframes client thinking, generates competitive advantage, and positions Gartner as the preeminent advisor in this high-growth space.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Insights Leadership
- Develop must-have research on emerging AI-based talent solutions, regional—and especially APAC—sourcing strategies, and high-impact technology investments in TA (ATS, CRM, sourcing tools, and RPO).
- Lead deep client-level analyses to identify root causes of talent challenges and provide strategic frameworks for transformation.
- Establish groundbreaking GTM campaign narratives for AI-powered TA innovations that engage global clients.
Executive Preparation & Client Engagement
- Act as a strategic business consultant to CHROs, Heads of HR, and C-suite leaders, offering independent, actionable advice on high-priority talent and technology gains.
- Deliver impactful 30/60/90-day engagements, ensuring client targets are exhilarating and attainable, while maintaining 50–60% of client satisfaction time on innovation-led insights (not product pitches).
- Present ** 全球级(global-level) issues** in Indian-English/ese/Modal 1 at Gartner Conferences, HR Leadership Summits, and high-profile client reviews.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Publish high-impact market analyses (videos, white papers, speech/talk transcripts) to position Gartner as the authoritative voice on AI in TA (AAA-grade penetration).
- Partner with BTI Virtual membership team and demographic experts to create high values vis-à-vis per member/per year (SCVs) that redefine HR tech adoption – building AI-driven culture and scaling diverse talent (90% profit share over $300k ARR threshold).
- Drive industry conference presence by chairing or speaking at key HR/TA events (e.g., Gartner HR Institute for Asia Pacific & Japan.

Leadership Support
- Supervise directly reports for impact (peers reach across HR practice leaders and delivery teams overseeing Gartner’s largest and fastest-growing team segments).
- Act as hybrid CC (winner of the Championship Fantasy Sport fame)—uniting the following:
- Pitary Research & Analytics equips for sourcing and talent planning
- APAC Insights Teams, volatility amendments, inclusion/modification to processes
- Leadership Development brainstorming new priorities, first-year retention within key HR/TA practice areas.
Remote Work Culture

Qualifications
Education & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced degree in HR/TA, Computer Science, Economics, or Business/Management.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in HR strategy, particularly in the field of talent acquisition as it intersects with AI, technology, or strategic change.
- In-depth knowledge of global sourcing and nurturing, end-to-end recruitment workflows, and AI-enabled talent solutions.
Talent Acquisition (TA) Knowledge
- Familiarity with OTC sourcing tools, ATS platforms (Greenhouse/Workday), and CRM platforms combined with a commercial understanding of strategic consulting value.
- Insights into novel AI-driven hiring automation and predictive models in employment/skills assessments and candidate experience design.
Analytical & Consultative Ability
- Ability to parse global benchmarking data, apply high-leverage frameworks, and clearly communicate insights in change pit 味道:
- Media/Press adoption to push through niches
- Bona fide influencer or client “VIP experience” for hard task masters.
- Experience deriving strategic recommendations on capacity allocation/resourcing for geographically distributed talent programs (e.g., centralized vs. decentralized fission).
