At Audible, we believe stories have the power to transform lives. It's why we work with some of the world's leading creators to produce and share audio storytelling with our millions of global listeners. We are dreamers and inventors who come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to empower and inspire each other. Imagine your future with us.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Audible is on a pursuit to have every book available as an audiobook in every language. The Brand & Content Marketing team serves as the strategic architects building meaningful audience experiences that inspire brand consideration and love, translating business objectives into tangible interactions through localised brand narratives, hero titles as well as Audible produced content marketing.

We are looking for a Director, Brand & Content Marketing UK to lead content marketing strategy in the United Kingdom. This people management role focuses on growing Audible's membership through growing customer acquisition and increasing member engagement through brand and content marketing initiatives.

This role owns the marketing strategy for a diverse portfolio of Audible Originals, Exclusives, and third-party titles, co-creating effective paid media campaigns while owning organic and social channels to grow and engage with our community. Many of our hero content launches require a bespoke marketing strategy tailored to its audience, genre, and talent dynamics that this role is responsible for anchoring, together with other marketing teams such as media, creative, influencer teams locally and globally.

While the primary focus is the UK marketplace, this role will also support the Senior Director, B&CM Europe/AU/UK across all Europe and AU marketplaces, as well as partner with global marketing teams to launch titles successfully across multiple Audible marketplaces including the US.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Brand & Content Marketing team is guided by four core values. As Storytellers, the team builds meaningful connections through compelling narratives and brand activations that inspire fandoms. Being Globally-Minded means creating value for listeners everywhere while maintaining awareness of diverse marketplaces and cultural nuances. The team is AI-Forward, leveraging technology to create authentic, scalable relationships with audiences while enhancing human connections. Finally, the team is Data-Driven, measuring success through tangible outcomes including brand metrics, audience growth, engagement rates, and customer advocacy.

ABOUT YOU

You are a content marketing leader with deep experience in marketing content from entertainment providers/services. You know how to craft effective campaigns, working in tandem with other marketing teams such as media, merchandising, acquisition and creative teams. You are equally skilled at growing engaged audiences organically through social-first strategies, experiential activations, and culturally relevant moments as a single threaded owner for these channels. You bring a relentless focus on efficiency, using data to optimise every pound spent across both paid and organic channels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You reject one-size-fits-all thinking, developing title-specific strategies that are digital first and reflect unique audience and talent dynamics. You know exactly how to use high-profile talent for marketing titles, treating constraints like limited talent time as creative challenges.

You are an exceptional people manager who builds and mentors high-performing teams. You bring outstanding stakeholder management skills, are deeply data-driven, and believe in the power of audio storytelling to reach untapped audiences. You’re skilled at navigating a matrixed organization, building strong cross-functional relationships and collaborating effectively with diverse teams across marketing, content, creative, paid media and analytics, to drive aligned outcomes at scale.

As a Director, Brand & Content Marketing UK, you will...

  • Lead content marketing strategy and support execution for Audible Originals, Exclusives, and strategic IPs in the UK. Partner with Creative and Media teams on crafting effective large-scale campaigns while building organic muscle through social media, experiential marketing, and earned channels
  • Develop bespoke, title-specific marketing strategies tailored to each title's audience, genre, and talent dynamics. Grow earned channels footprint to support a large portfolio of titles at scale
  • Advocate and champion AI-first approaches across what we do including guiding creative development, project management, measurement and social media experimentation to scale the depth and width of content marketing initiatives
  • Identify and develop strategies to reach new customer cohorts, expanding Audible's addressable audience beyond existing listener segments through innovative marketing approaches
  • Guide bar-raising, innovative creative work across cover art, key art, and campaign assets; provide strategic direction on how best to feature and utilise talent in visual and video creatives, partnering with the content and creative team to ensure distinctiveness and impact
  • Work closely with Content and PR teams to maximise marketing impact from high-profile talent with limited promotional availability — develop efficient shoot frameworks, asset capture strategies, and campaign playbooks that extract maximum value from minimal talent time
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of content marketers, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Drive efficiency through rigorous data analysis; monitor campaign KPIs obsessively, and use data-led insights to continuously optimise marketing strategies to drive tangible business impact
  • Present and represent marketing plans to senior leaders (C-Suite); work cross-functionally with Content, Creative, PR, Media, Acquisition and Measurement teams to ensure we create bar-raising, business-building marketing work
  • Lead and support strategic brand partnerships and collaborations on social media and through culturally relevant activations
