This is an exciting opportunity to own products at the heart of the payments ecosystem, enabling financial institutions to move money efficiently, securely, and at scale. You’ll work across operations, regulation, and client needs to shape innovative solutions and client propositions that support the evolving payments landscape.

Why Join Us?

  • Own a high-impact product portfolio with end-to-end responsibility for product strategy, delivery, and commercial performance.
  • Deliver meaningful client outcomes by solving complex challenges for corporate, financial institution, and PayTech clients through modern clearing and payments solutions.
  • Develop your leadership skills through strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and execute the Cash Payments product strategy and roadmap across different client segments.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from product design and delivery through to launch and ongoing optimisation.
  • Engage directly with clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to understand market needs and shape future product development.
  • Define success metrics, monitor product performance, and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Someone who is equally comfortable defining long-term strategy and rolling up their sleeves to drive execution.
  • A curious, forward-thinking individual who thrives in a changing environment and brings fresh ideas.
  • Someone who is motivated by ownership, accountability, and delivering results through collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Develop and execute the Europe Transaction Banking Cash Management strategy, identifying market trends, growth opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Translate client and market needs into new, enhanced, or repackaged products supported by robust business cases, commercial analysis, and implementation plans.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from strategy and design through delivery, launch, and ongoing optimisation.

Business

  • Extensive senior product management experience in European payments for Financial Institutions and Multinational Corporates.
  • Expertise across Clearing Services, High Value Payments, CHAPS, Bacs, Faster Payments, T2, EURO1, SEPA, Transactional FX, Digital Assets, Domestic Cash Management, Collections, Reporting, and Virtual Accounts.
  • Experience participating in UK, European, and German payments industry forums.
  • Strong knowledge of Open Banking, payment innovation, and emerging overlay services.
  • Proven ability to interpret regulatory change, define business requirements, and deliver compliant product enhancements.
  • Accountable for product development, commercialisation, governance, and product performance, including product assessments and management information.
  • Deliver regional implementation of global cash management capabilities in partnership with global and local teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
