This is a role where you shape how we win and retain our most important clients.

We’re hiring into our UK & International Principal Clients team at Clear Group - a strategically important function focused on how we differentiate, grow and deliver for our most valuable relationships.

This isn’t about designing propositions in isolation.

It’s about making them work in practice - across complex client portfolios, with real commercial impact.

This role sits at the centre of how Clear engages its most complex and high-value clients. You’ll own and evolve strategic client propositions ensuring they are embedded consistently, commercially effective, and genuinely differentiated in the market.

Operating in a fast-moving, acquisitive environment, this role requires pace, ownership and commercial focus - ensuring propositions don’t just exist, but deliver results.

What you’ll be doing

Delivering results

  • Own and drive the implementation and evolution of strategic client propositions
  • Work with Sales Directors to embed propositions across key client portfolios
  • Drive measurable growth, retention and client engagement
  • Ensure propositions deliver real commercial value in practice
  • Lead and oversee delivery of Elite client programmes across Placement, Claims and Specialisms

Driving improvement

  • Continuously refine and evolve propositions using data, market insight and client feedback
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience and commercial performance
  • Drive rollout and embedding of new solutions across the business
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements including Consumer Duty and Fair Value

Leading through influence

  • Build strong relationships across Sales, Placement, Operations and Market Management
  • Influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted partner across the business
  • Act as an escalation point for complex client situations where required
  • Champion a consistent, high-quality, client-centric approach

  • Strategic propositions are fully embedded and delivering measurable growth and retention
  • You have a clear, visible impact across high-value and complex client portfolios
  • Stakeholders trust your judgement and actively partner with you
  • Client engagement and value improves across key accounts

About you

You’re commercially sharp, credible with senior stakeholders, and comfortable operating in complexity.

You don’t just contribute to strategy - you make it work in practice.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Significant experience in commercial insurance
  • Exposure to large, complex or strategically important client portfolios
  • A strong track record of delivering growth and improving client outcomes
  • Experience embedding propositions, solutions or cross-client initiatives
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, placement strategy and insurer appetite
  • Strong data and insight capability - you turn information into action
