Director, Natural Resources Corporate Banking | London:

Our client, a leading international corporate and investment bank, is seeking an experienced Director-level Corporate Banker to join its growing Natural Resources team. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established platform that is actively investing in growth across Europe, offering significant long-term career progression within a highly visible and entrepreneurial environment. Unlike larger institutions where progression can be limited by team size and hierarchy, this opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of key client relationships, contribute directly to business growth, and build a genuine path towards senior leadership.

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships across the Natural Resources sector, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver financing and broader banking solutions to corporate clients.

This is a front-office relationship management and business development role, suited to an experienced Director looking to take the next step within a growth-focused platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
