The Role
At Teneo, we provide expert cyber security strategy, risk and response advisory within a multi-disciplinary environment, working closely with our strategy and communications, risk advisory and restructuring teams across a globally connected platform.
We are seeking highly experienced Cyber Response Directors to join our growing global cyber team. This role is suited to a senior cyber security professional with deep expertise in cyber response and recovery, including advising organisations on remediation and longer-term post-incident transformation. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, supporting clients through complex and high-stakes situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring recognised expertise in cyber response and recovery, shaping strategy and guiding decision-making in fast moving, high stakes situations
- Drive complex cyber response engagements from end-to-end, coordinating technical, crisis and recovery teams to deliver outcomes
- Advise senior stakeholders during critical incidents, providing clear direction and supporting effective recovery
- Build and grow a high-performing team, creating an environment that empowers people, encourages initiative and supports an entrepreneurial mindset

Key Skills & Experience
- You will have a strong track record of winning and delivering complex, multidisciplinary engagements across cyber response, recovery and crisis preparedness. The role requires established relationships at both C-suite and senior technical levels, alongside a strong understanding of the technologies and tools underpinning cyber response and forensics, delivered in partnership with specialist technology providers.
- Extensive experience in cyber security and incident response, with a track record of managing complex incidents and recovery efforts across multiple jurisdictions and environments
- Recognised for a defined area of expertise within cyber response and recovery, bringing a clear perspective that shapes delivery and client outcomes
- Strong credibility with senior stakeholders, including clients, legal counsel, regulators and boards, with the ability to communicate clearly in sensitive situations
- A proven leader who builds and develops teams, with experience growing capability, encouraging initiative and creating an environment where people and ideas can thrive
