SJC Partners is delighted to be partnering with a Top 10 professional services firm to appoint a Director within its growing Debt Advisory team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced business developer and debt advisory professional to join a highly respected national platform with an established referral network, a strong brand and significant investment in future growth.
The role combines new business generation, strategic client advisory, and lender relationship management. Working closely with Partners across the wider firm, you will advise owner-managed and mid-market businesses on a broad range of funding solutions while building long-term client relationships.
The Opportunity
- Develop new business through an established internal referral network and your own introducer relationships.
- Advise owner-managed businesses and mid-market clients on a broad range of debt funding solutions.
- Structure and source funding across the debt market.
- Prepare high-quality funding proposals and information memoranda.
- Manage transactions from initial instruction through to successful completion.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, alternative lenders, and other funding providers.
- Present to Partners, clients, and external networking events, helping to further grow the Debt Advisory practice.
- Play a key role in the continued expansion of a fast-growing national team.

About You
This opportunity would suit individuals currently working in Debt Advisory or Commercial Finance Broking, as well as professionals from:
- Corporate Banking
- Commercial Banking
- Structured Finance

- A strong track record of winning and developing client relationships.
- Experience arranging debt facilities for SME and mid-market businesses.
- Excellent commercial and financial analysis skills.
- The ability to interpret financial statements and understand a range of funding structures.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with a genuine passion for business development.
