Key Responsibilities
As the Product Manager Director within the Repository & Derivatives Services (RDS) team, your role is critical in shaping strategic product initiatives aligned with growing commercial opportunities. You will leverage your derivatives expertise, data, and analytics to identify, develop, and validate high-value use cases while collaborating cross-functionally to position DTCC as an industry leader in derivatives post-trade solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and advance strategic RDS initiatives focused on derivatives product direction, use case identification, and commercial opportunities, leveraging emerging technologies and client insights
- Collaborate with Data Office, Product, Sales, and Technology teams to align analytical capabilities with market needs and client demands
- Lead efforts to identify, frame, and validate new product opportunities, including hypothesis development, feasibility assessments, and business case creation
- Apply deep expertise in derivatives markets (execution, clearing, post-trade) to inform strategic product decisions
- Build and nurture cross-functional relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders (clients, partners, industry participants)
- Translate market challenges and client requirements into tangible product opportunities, strategic plans, and commercial roadmaps
- Provide an independent, critical perspective to ensure opportunity valuation, client relevance, and strategic alignment
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives (Technology, Finance, Legal) to ensure execution readiness
- Stay current with market structure trends, participant behaviour, and derivatives innovation
- Support downstream productization and commercialization efforts aligned with DTCC’s broader product and service groups
- Mentor and develop junior product managers through structured guidance

Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent financial services, risk, or industry experience
- Minimum 10+ years in financial services, with expertise in front-office, prime brokerage, or risk functions

Essential Talents
- Strong derivatives experience (OTC, cleared, or post-trade workflows)
- Product management, strategy, or business development experience with commercial judgement to evaluate opportunities
- Ability to translate complex market insights into actionable product direction
- Capability to operate in exploratory, ambiguous environments with a first-principles approach
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across clients, partners, and senior stakeholders
- Demonstrates independent analytical thinking with expertise in data, analytics, and AI applications
- Leadership through mentorship, influencing outcomes, and driving team strategy
