About The Role
The Strategic Communications practice of FTI Consulting offers specialist expertise across industries such as financial services, retail and consumer, natural resources, energy, public affairs, real estate, professional services, technology media and telecoms (TMT), healthcare, and life sciences. Our Digital & Insights team sits at the heart of our Strategic Communications offering, supporting clients in navigating, shaping, and safeguarding their reputation in the evolving digital world.

We’re seeking a talented, entrepreneurial professional to join our high-growth Digital & Insights team in London.
You will:
- Work with the world’s most high-profile companies to advise them on reputation, digital presence, and stakeholder engagement.
- Combine expertise in digital communications, reputation management, integrated campaigning, and data-driven insights with unwavering strategic judgment.
- Play a pivotal role in business development, including identifying new clients, selling proposals, and growing the Digital & Insights practice.
- Lead a team in an environment where creative thinking, incisive stakeholder analysis, and relentless growth are prized.

What You’ll Do
Client Delivery
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior executives and boards across industries, often in high-stakes or reputationally critical contexts.
- Design and execute integrated communications programmes, placing particular emphasis on digital channels, online platforms, and stakeholder stratification.
- Produce high-calibre content—including insights, campaign narratives, executive positioning materials, public campaigns, and digital messaging strategies.
- Advisor clients on emerging communications trends, particularly those related to AI-powered search (and large language models), generative content, and digital communication frameworks.
- Work across multi-disciplinary proving grounds (includes Financial Services, Public Affairs, TMT, Life Sciences, and Employee Engagement) to build unified, reputation-aligned campaigns.
- Apply data-driven decision-making to manifest insights into campaign direction, narrative focus, and strategic realignment across channels.
- Optimise campaigns in real-time by interpreting performance metrics, adjusting messaging, mitigating risks, and seizing opportunities.

Business Leadership
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by conducting needs assessments, crafting targeted responses, and delivering compelling justifications to potential partners.
- Showcase thinking leadership and innovation within our practice, expanding our service offerings to maintain a cutting-edge reputation management approach.
- Drive work rooted in measurable KPIs directly linked to client objectives—whether reputational impact or revenue generation.
- Champion integration between FTI Consulting’s practices to deliver seamless, unified client solutions that satisfy all stakeholder needs.
Team Leadership
- Nurture junior talent, providing guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback in a high-performing, inclusive culture.
- Oversee critical account execution, ensuring Project Managers and colleagues are aligned on commercial imperatives, delivery standards, profitability goals, and sustainable resourcing models.
- Motivating collaboration to design subject-expert campaigns (across all disciplines), feeding into the agreement-making process.
- Adapt Digest-Team workflows to evolutions in stakeholder trends, platform functionality (including automated tools), evidence interpretation, and competitive spacing.
- Act as an active bear of culture and role model, fostering an environment valuing curiosity, entrepreneurship, and actionable problem-solving.

What You Will Need To Succeed
Core Experience And Skills
- Substantial background in corporate communications, digital campaigning, or integrated consulting, within high-value clients or regulatory sectors.
- Proven track record designing and managing large-scale, multi-channel programmes with one or more channels cutting through digital tools and reputation messaging.
- Sharp writing and content curation across executive communications, digital media, compiler campaigns, and reputation-focused documentation.
- Advanced stakeholder-mapping and strategic-messaging (including risk-proofing narratives).
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing principles, including paid media strategy, analytics dashboards, and platform-specific tools.
- Keen ability to convert data into actionable client insights, optimising messaging, justify campaigns, and present to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience advising listed companies, asset managers, or organisations in inquisitive, complex regulatory areas.
Assessing Technologies
- Foundation of current and theoretical knowledge on Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, and its impacts—including on digital media elements and stakeholder behavior—and how to apply this analysis to evolving communication strategies.
