Director, EMEA Hedge Fund Wholesale Distribution
Overview We are partnering with a leading hedge fund manager seeking to hire a Sales Director for EMEA Wholesale Distribution to support the continued growth of its international investor base. This is a senior, front-office role focused on driving capital raising across the wholesale channel, with primary responsibility for developing and managing relationships with private banks, wealth managers, intermediaries, and distribution platforms across Europe and the Middle East. The firm offers a range of alternative investment strategies, with a strong emphasis on delivering differentiated, alpha-driven performance to institutional and intermediary clients globally. Key Responsibilities Originate and develop new relationships across the EMEA wholesale/intermediary investor base Maintain and expand existing relationships with: Private banks Wealth managers Independent asset managers / IFAs Fund platforms and distribution partners Drive net inflows and AUM growth across the region Position and articulate the firm's product offering to intermediary clients, tailoring messaging to suit different investor segments Work closely with internal stakeholders including: Portfolio managers Investment specialists Product and marketing teams Support the onboarding of new investors, including due diligence and platform approval processes Identify and execute opportunities to increase product penetration within existing distribution channels Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and roadshows across Europe and the Middle East Candidate Profile Proven experience in a wholesale / intermediary distribution role within asset management or hedge funds Demonstrable track record of raising capital from private banks, wealth managers, and/or intermediary channels Established network across key European markets and, ideally, Middle Eastern investors Strong understanding of: Hedge fund / alternatives strategies UCITS and offshore fund structures Distribution dynamics across private wealth channels Commercial, driven, and relationship-oriented mindset Ability to communicate complex strategies in a clear, client-friendly manner Additional Information The role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to play a key part in the firm's EMEA growth strategy Candidates can be based in London or other major European financial centres, with regular travel required Highly competitive compensation structure aligned with performance
