Director of Executive Search | Build Something Elite | Join the Senior Leadership Team
Our client is an executive search firm that partners exclusively with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies to place executive talent.
They're entering their next phase of growth, with £10M in revenue as the first milestone. Getting there means building a sales function that's uncompromising on standards, tight on execution, and judged purely on results.
This role exists because growth has exposed a gap: they need someone who can lift the bar, close business themselves, and build a team capable of doing the same at scale.
What the role covers
- A core member of the senior leadership team
- Full ownership of the function that wins new clients and grows long-term relationships
- A genuine operator-leader: closing deals personally while building others to do the same
- Managing a team of high-calibre graduates and shaping them into top-tier Private Equity executive search consultants
- Running the function on metrics, coaching, and a relentless push to raise standards
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Coaching, training, and leadership development aren't optional extras — they're treated as core to the business. Targets are clear, feedback is direct, and outcomes are tracked — ambition gets operationalised, not just talked about.
