Director, Finance Consulting (Value Performance Management)

At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

Are you passionate about helping organisations elevate the quality, speed, and impact of their business decision making? Do you thrive at the intersection of Finance, Data, and the business—working with commercial, supply chain, marketing, and R&D leaders to unlock value and improve enterprise performance?

The Opportunity

Our Value & Performance Management (VPM) team helps CFOs, CxOs and business leaders transform how decisions are made across their organisations. We enable clients to improve business performance through modern FP&A, enhanced business partnering, data‑driven decision support, and innovative analytics and AI-enabled performance frameworks.

Our VPM team works with some of the world’s most recognised brands to help them translate strategy into measurable value outcomes. This includes shaping enterprise performance architectures, designing insight‑led operating models, implementing Integrated Business Planning, and optimising decision processes across the value chain.

We support the full transformation lifecycle, including:

  • Assessing current maturity of Finance, FP&A and business partnering
  • Developing a VPM strategy, vision and performance architecture, focused on value outcomes for the business
  • Designing enterprise performance frameworks and operating models
  • Implementing modern planning capabilities (driver‑based, predictive, IBP)
  • Deploying enabling technologies (e.g. SAP SAC, Tagetik, Anaplan, OneStream, Pigment), analytics platforms and AI tools
  • Enhancing decision support across commercial, supply chain, marketing and other functions
  • Creating value measurement frameworks and scorecards
  • Designing insight‑led organisation structures and talent models
  • Managing end‑to‑end programme delivery and adoption

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Director, you will play two key roles in our business. Firstly you will build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and advise them on their most critical performance and decision‑making challenges, as well as leading and executing complex transformations on their behalf.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
