Director, Forma Industry Strategy (UK-Based)
Our partner is seeking a Director, Forma Industry Strategy to shape the future of a next-generation cloud platform transforming the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) industry. This is a senior strategic leadership role in the United Kingdom.
About the Role
This position focuses on defining the future of an AI-powered, data-centric cloud platform within the AECO industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading long-term product and go-to-market strategy
- Translating market intelligence, customer insights, and emerging technologies into actionable business direction
- Building AI-powered, data-centric workflows across the built environment
- Serving as a key industry ambassador engaging with customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Driving adoption of a digital transformation framework for the global industry
This is an opportunity to influence and accelerate the digital transformation of the AECO industry, while leading high-impact strategic initiatives in a collaborative international environment.
Accountabilities
- Define and lead long-term strategy and go-to-market direction—identifying growth opportunities, competitive differentiation, and strategic priorities.
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative market research, customer feedback, and AI-driven insights to develop strategic recommendations and business cases.
- Shape pricing strategies, portfolio positioning, and adoption frameworks to maximize customer value and market impact.
- Develop executive-level frameworks and recommendations supporting leadership in decision-making.
- Act as a senior internal and external evangelist, representing the platform to customers, partners, analysts, and at industry events to foster adoption.
- Collaborate closely with product teams, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure strategy is aligned with market trends and customer needs.
- Align cross-functional stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives globally.
- Lead and develop a high-performing strategy team, establishing effective collaboration across distributed teams.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in:
- Strategy
- Product management
- Go-to-market development
- Management consulting
- Relevant leadership
- Exposure to the AEC industry
- Proven ability to lead high-impact strategic initiatives delivering measurable outcomes in complex organizations.
- Demonstrable understanding of AECO digital transformation trends, including cloud and AI-driven technologies.
- Experience drafting go-to-market strategies, market positioning, pricing, and commercial frameworks for technological products/platforms.
- Strong analytical skills leveraging data, AI-powered tools, and cloud technologies.
- Expertise in engaging executive stakeholders, customers, and partners as a trusted advisor and industry thought leader.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills to simplify complex concepts.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
