Director, Forma Industry Strategy
Director, Forma Industry Strategy (UK) – Senior Strategic Leadership Role
This senior strategic leadership role is open for a Director, Forma Industry Strategy based in the United Kingdom. The position focuses on defining the future of a next-generation cloud platform, transforming architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) by fostering AI-powered, data-centric workflows. The ideal candidate will:
- Shape long-term product and go-to-market strategy
- Translate market intelligence, customer insights, and emerging technologies into actionable business direction
- Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership
- Drive adoption of transformative technologies across the built environment
- Act as an industry ambassador, engaging globally with customers, partners, and stakeholders
This is an opportunity to lead high-impact strategic initiatives in a collaborative, international environment while influencing the digital transformation of a global industry.
Accountabilities
- Lead long-term strategy and go-to-market direction for an industry cloud platform, identifying growth opportunities and competitive differentiation
- Use qualitative/quantitative research, market intelligence, customer feedback, and AI-driven insights to develop strategic recommendations and business cases
- Develop pricing, packaging, portfolio positioning, and adoption strategies to maximize customer value
- Create executive-level frameworks, briefs, and recommendations supporting informed decision-making
- Serve as a senior evangelist, representing the platform at customer engagements, partner meetings, analyst events, and industry conferences
- Partner with product teams to ensure strategic decisions align with customer needs and market trends
- Align cross-functional stakeholders (product, sales, marketing, customer success, corporate strategy) for consistent execution
- Lead and develop a high-performing strategy team and establish effective global collaboration rhythms

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in:
- Strategy, product management, go-to-market, management consulting, or related leadship roles
- Significant exposure to the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry
- Proven ability to deliver measurable business outcomes in complex, matrixed organizations
- Deep understanding of digital transformation trends in the built environment
- Expertise in go-to-market strategies, market positioning, pricing, and commercial frameworks for technoloy products/platforms
- Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging data, AI-enabled tools, and cloud technologies
- Demonstrated skill in engaging executive stakeholders, customers, and partners as a trusted advisor
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
