📍London, United Kingdom – Hybrid (3 days per week in-office – St James Park)

About You 👤

  • Qualified Medical Professional (Degree in Human Medicine (preferred) or PharmD) with proven subject matter knowledge and expertise (ideally in women’s health or related)
  • Highest ethical standards
  • Extensive experience in Medical Affairs and in Global roles
  • Final ABPI signatory status
  • Strong interpersonal skills and solid leadership and managerial experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid business acumen
  • Strategic, pragmatic and agile operator who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment and delivers measurable outcomes
  • Passionate about women’s health and driven to make a tangible impact through science and education.

About The Role 🧭

As Director, Global Medical Affairs - Osteoporosis at Theramex, you will be a critical member of the Global Medical team; you will set the Global Medical Affairs Osteoporosis strategy and lead the development and implementation of best-in-class Medical Affairs Osteoporosis plans.

Collaborating cross-functionally with Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Value and Access, Business Development, Marketing and other functions you will ensure our medical science is advancing our mission to improve the lives of women globally.

Key Duties and Responsibilities 📌

  • Own and develop the global medical affairs strategy for pharmaceutical products within the therapeutic area Osteoporosis
  • Design and ensure the implementation of the global medical affairs operating plan
  • Member of the Global Theramex Scientific Review Committee
  • Develop the Theramex sponsored clinical studies strategy and oversee execution of Theramex sponsored studies
  • Review and approve/reject investigator-initiated studies
  • Lead scientific publications, presentations, and dissemination of medical-scientific data internally and externally
  • Liaise with key global medical experts, healthcare providers, academic institutions, government agencies, medical-scientific professional societies and advocacy groups to gain insights that support the continues improvement of medical affairs plans and projects such as advisory board meetings and other strategic medical-scientific forums
  • Act as a senior medical-scientific consultant to internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate alignment across functions to ensure medical-scientific integrity
  • Develop medical-scientific materials related to Theramex’ products and deliver internal training as needed
  • Ensure compliance with ABPI, EFPIA and other applicable codes and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide efficient and effective Industry Code compliant medical approval of promotional and non-promotional materials
  • Maintain up to date medical-scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area of ‘Osteoporosis’. E.g. by regularly reviewing medical-scientific publications relating to the therapeutic area and by attending medical-scientific meetings (such as conferences and symposia)
