Director, Global Procurement - Third Party Risk Management at Regeneron
About Regeneron and the Role
At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. We are seeking a Director, Global Procurement - Third Party Risk Management to join our Global Procurement team in a remote work (Uxbridge, UK-based) environment.
This role will support the regional execution of our enterprise third-party risk management (TPRM) programme, ensuring third-party risks across suppliers, service providers, and external partners are identified, assessed, mitigated, and managed in line with the global TPRM framework. You’ll collaborate closely with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, IP, Information Security, and other risk domain owners while contributing to a science-driven organization making a meaningful global impact.
key Responsibilities
Regional TPRM Leadership
- Provide regional oversight and execution of the enterprise TPRM programme.
- Ensure consistent, risk-based application of third-party risk processes.
- Act as the escalation point for material or emerging risks.
Third-Party Risk Management Lifecycle
- Oversee the end-to-end third-party risk lifecycle, including:
- Onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of third-party relationships
- Issue management and remediation for compliance and operational risks
- Offboarding processes for terminated partnerships
Compliance & Governance
- Maintain regional alignment with regulatory standards, industry expectations, and global governance models.
- Partner with Compliance and risk owners on supplier assessments, issue mitigation, and corrective action plans.
- Work with Procurement, Legal, IP, and Information Security teams to apply a holistic risk management approach.

Reporting & KPIs
- Support global governance bodies with regional insights and reporting.
- Define and monitor KPIs and KRIs to enhance risk visibility across third-party stakeholders.
Digital Transformation & Automation
- Drive adoption of automation, AI, and analytics within approved TPRM platforms to:
- Improve the efficiency of risk screening, monitoring, and reporting
- Enhance scalability and accuracy of risk data
- Incorporate data-driven decision-making throughout third-party engagements
Collaborative Leadership

Partner with internal stakeholders and business teams to improve coordination and risk mitigation.

Develop the TPRM team’s capabilities, leadership, and external engagement skills.

Contribute to talent development initiatives across Global Procurement.

Lead through ambiguity, demonstrating integrity, clarity, and adaptability in dynamic global environments.
required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferably with advanced degrees or certifications in Risk Management, Supply Chain, or related disciplines).
- 12+ years of dynamic experience in Third-Party Risk Management, with a focus on pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industries.
Specialised Expertise
- Previous people management experience (role leadership or team oversight).
- Experience managing regional or multi-country risk programmes.
- Deep understanding of:
- Third-party risk domains (e.g., fraud, conflict minerals, cyber risks, sustainability)
- Regulatory expectations (e.g., CFDA, FDA, EMA, GDPR, vendor-related regulations)
- Global governance models and risk frameworks
- Familiarity with TPRM technologies and risk monitoring platforms, including automation, AI, and risk analytics.
