Director, Global Procurement - Third Party Risk Management
At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. We are seeking a Director, Global Procurement - Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) to join our Global Procurement team, supporting the regional execution of our enterprise third-party risk management programme in a remote work mode.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure third-party risks across suppliers, service providers, and external partners are identified, assessed, mitigated, and managed in line with the global TPRM framework.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, IP, Information Security, and other risk domain owners.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Your role involves:

Providing regional oversight and execution of the enterprise TPRM programme by ensuring consistent risk-based application of third-party risk processes and acting as the escalation point for material or emerging risks.

Overseeing the entire third-party risk lifecycle, including:
- Onboarding
- Due diligence
- Ongoing monitoring
- Issue management
- Offboarding

Maintaining regional alignment with regulatory and industry standards, and partnering with Compliance and risk domain owners to administrate:
- Supplier assessments
- Issue remediation
- Corrective action plans

Supporting global governance bodies with:
- Regional insights and reporting
- KPI and KRIs definition and monitoring to drive risk visibility

Driving adoption of automation, AI, analytics, and data-driven tools within approved TPRM platforms to enhance:
- Efficiency
- Scalability
- Quality of risk screening, monitoring, analysis, and reporting

Partnering with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, IP, Information Security, and other risk specialists to manage third-party risks holistically and acting as a trusted regional advisor to business partners.

Developing your TPRM team’s capabilities, enhancing judgement and partner engagement skills, while contributing to broader talent development across Global Procurement.

Operating with integrity, clarity, and focus through change and ambiguity, influencing cross-functional partners in a matrixed environment.
Role Requirements
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
-
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree or certifications are preferred.

12+ years of dynamic experience in:
- Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)
- Preferably within:
- Pharmaceutical or biotech industries
- Other regulated industries

Proven experience managing people.

Experience in managing regional, multi-country risk management programmes.

Deep understanding of:
- Third-party risk domains
- Regulatory expectations
- Governance models
-
Preference for experience with:
- TPRM technologies
- Risk monitoring platforms
- Self-driven use of automation and AI-enabled tools within risk or compliance processes

Demonstrated ability to:
- Influence cross-functional partners
- Operate effectively in a matrixed environment
- Work with integrity, clarity, and focus in conditions of change and ambiguity
