We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Ultra High Net Worth Market (UHNW) Solutions UK, Director.
About the Role
International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) provides a leading premium proposition through Premier Banking and, together with our Private Bank, are present across the world’s most important markets, booking centres, and corridors most valued by our clients. Our wealth offering is further enhanced through our best-in-class manufacturing capabilities in Asset Management and Insurance. HSBC Private Banking helps high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients manage, grow, and preserve their wealth for generations to come.
Part of IWPB, the UHNW Solutions Group provides tailored solutions to sophisticated UHNW clients and Family Offices, leveraging the full breadth of the HSBC Group. The team provides solutions across public and private markets, and an important source of differentiation against other wealth managers. This is an opportunity for a senior professional to join a high calibre team as Head of UHNW Market Solutions, UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading the strategic development of the public markets solution set for UHNW clients in the UK, with a focus on bringing an Institutional level of coverage and product to Family Offices and sophisticated UHNW clients
- Working with HSBC Group colleagues and external partners to source, originate and deliver solutions to clients across Capital Markets to UHNW clients, including Structured Products, Fixed Income, FX, Equities
- Working with wider HSBC Group partners to deliver bespoke content across Alternative Investments, Private Credit, Global Custody, Institutionalized Family Office and Strategic Equity Financing
- Marketing the solution set internally and externally, to Relationship managers and clients
- Leading development of the UK platform through close collaboration with local Product development teams and business functions to achieve the global alignment
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets, potentially having worked in a Markets role
- Client-facing experience; experience of working with Ultra High Net Worth clients and Family Offices helpful but not essential
- Strong collaboration skills required to build relationships internally and work with multiple stakeholders across varied business lines
- Robust communication skills; comfortable in presenting complex ideas to audiences of varying sophistication
- Interest in Private Banking / Wealth and the investment process
- Experience of AMG / Alternative Investments can be useful
