Role Title: Director, Institutional Sales, Institutional & Corporate Group - UK & Europe
Role location: London
About Westpac: We are Australia’s first bank and oldest company, and one of four major banking organisations in Australia. This opportunity sits in our London office working for Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB), the division of Westpac, which services the needs of our corporate, institutional, and governmental clients.
How will I help?
You will be responsible for driving and maintaining mutually beneficial long-term relationships with clients. This position involves advising and servicing our clients multi product needs in a value-added fashion. You will be working closely in a globally coordinated sales team to increase the penetration and delivery of our strategic product set.
Key Accountabilities
- Successfully execute upon the regional & global strategic sales plan.
- Proactively convert new accounts to dealing status through proactive marketing and providing support for the onboarding process.
- Leverage financial markets offering and maximizing cross sell opportunities with other areas of WIB.
- Generate revenue and being accountable for achieving both regional and global budgets.
- Work closely with team members to encourage and support each other and offer assistance and experience when required.

What do I need?
- Extensive experience in the Fixed Income product suite, experience in AUD & NZD Rates is preferable.
- Extensive knowledge of FM products, in particular the Rates products suite and proven extensive experience in dealing derivatives and cash securities.
- A proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships.
- A proven track record of relationship management and expanding existing client portfolios.
- A strong understanding of markets, economics, sales and marketing concepts.
- A proven ability to interact with senior staff at major institutional investors.
- Understanding and respecting regulatory reforms.
