Description
Join us as a Director - Insurance Market Strategy within WTW’s Global Specialty consulting practice in Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT).
In this role, you will apply your experience to support insurers in addressing complex market and commercial challenges. You will translate analysis and insight into practical recommendations, contribute to the development of market strategy offerings, and support delivery across a global client base.
You will work on high-impact strategic questions shaping the future of insurance markets, including growth, portfolio strategy and commercial transformation.

This opportunity may be of interest to professionals working in strategy, consulting, or insurance-related roles across areas such as consulting, insurance, broking, MGA or reinsurance, or those with transferable experience in similar environments.
The Role
Client Engagement
Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a credible advisor on market and strategy topics. Analyse complex client challenges and translate them into clear, actionable insights and recommendations. Contribute to client discussions and proposals, supporting the development of solutions that address defined business needs.
Proposition & Thought Leadership Development
Contribute to the development and refinement of WTW’s Insurance Market Strategy proposition using market insight and analytical outputs. Support the creation of thought leadership that reflects market trends and client needs. Develop knowledge in a chosen area and contribute to relevant internal or external discussions where appropriate.

Project Delivery & Commercial Leadership
Lead or support the delivery of strategic engagements, applying structured problem-solving to produce practical outcomes. Break down complex problems into clear workstreams and support delivery through to implementation-ready recommendations. Contribute to proposal development by helping to define scope, approach and value of WTW’s services.
People Leadership & Collaboration
Work effectively across teams and disciplines, ensuring relevant stakeholders are included in delivery. Provide guidance and coaching to colleagues through day-to-day project work. Contribute to a respectful, inclusive and collaborative working environment.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
Experience in insurance strategy, consulting, or a related analytical or commercial environment. The ability to analyse complex information and apply structured thinking to develop practical recommendations. Experience contributing to or delivering projects with clear business outcomes. The ability to build effective working relationships and support stakeholder decision-making. Curiosity and willingness to develop expertise in market strategy and insurance trends.
