We are looking for a Director, IT Site Services Europe, based in one of the Guildford, Madrid or Stockholm offices to act as the leader of our Site IT teams across our European offices (15 offices). As the IT Leader, you will help ensure our Studios have the technology, knowledge, and services they need to create world-class games. Your role reports to the Global Director of Site & Service Operations, who is part of the Employee and Studio Experience (ESE) team, which is dedicated to providing the best tools and support for EA teams to perform at their highest potential.
Embracing diversity and inclusion, you will promote the development of great games through an open and collaborative work style. The IT Director will lead site teams to ensure the security of Intellectual Property within the studio through the development of, and adherence to existing standard operating procedures. You will develop comparative metrics on technological support within their region.
You will align the EA IT roadmap with our ESE goals, driving strategic technology decisions and leading investment budget planning. You will ensure customer satisfaction by understanding and meeting needs, building relationships, and delivering IT services promptly. You will lead your team to meet the evolving needs of EA.

Responsibilities
Relationship Development and Management
- Be the operational focused liaison between IT, Business Stakeholders and Global IT Functions
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their respective local and regional department goals
- Form collaborative relationship with supporting global service lines such as Workplace Experience, Real Estate, People Experience, Service Desk, Service Operations and Strategic Partner Management
- Establish and maintain working relationships with main vendors across the region
Technical Leadership
- Promote Technology learning and usage within the department and across managed locations.
- Project management/coordination on technical projects across managed locations
- Forecast resources (budget, assets and personnel) for projects for IT operations across locations
- Stay informed about the latest developments in IT technology
- Prepare long and short-term plans for the S&SO Team and acquisition of the resources and needs to support them, assuring alignment with long-term studio goals
- Publish and analyze data on performance of teams across managed locations
Qualifications
- Requires ten or more years of experience in all aspects of IT in multiple leadership roles
- Requires experience of managing local Site IT teams within a Game Development organization
- You will be based in one of our Guildford, Madrid or Stockholm offices and expected to work hybrid.
- 3+ years of experience managing IT in a Game Development or Publishing role or equivalent role.
- Experienced in managing teams and influencing stakeholders
- Proficient in working across organizations, managing by influence, and coordinating large-scale teams in multiple locations, time zones, and geographies.
- Experience with game development pipelines
- Experience with IT Security best practices
- ITIL experience
- Experience managing technical teams
- Bachelor of Business or Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
