Director, M&A Advisory - Media/Sport

Location: Manchester or London (Hybrid Working)

Due to exceptional growth, we are seeking an experienced M&A Advisory Director to join our dedicated Sports M&A practice. This high-profile role involves leading and delivering end-to-end M&A projects in the sports industry, from strategy and lead advisory to due diligence and post-transaction support.

You will advise purchasers and vendors on investments and divestments of sports-related businesses globally, lead project teams, manage client relationships, drive business development, and coach junior colleagues.

You will contribute to our market-leading knowledge and thought leadership, working on some of the most impactful projects in the sports sector.

Connect to your Experience

The successful candidate will have solid experience of leading sizeable M&A deals, will be able to lead a team and have either solid industry experience within Media or Sports.

An established network within the Sports industry would be an advantage but not essential.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Significant M&A advisory experience from a leading professional services firm, investment bank, or boutique.
  • Leading large scale M&A engagements, including but not limited to: corporate finance advisory (buy-side and sell-side), M&A strategy, due diligence and valuations or clients acquiring and / or divesting high-profile assets around the world.
  • Proven experience in originating and/or selling corporate finance projects
  • Expertise in transaction due diligence and valuations.
  • Experience leading project teams and developing junior colleagues
  • Experience within Media or Sports industries would be advantageous.
