The Role

The Director, Marketing at Velsera drives integrated corporate marketing programs, in partnership with Commercial and Sales leaders, establishing the brand, amplifying market presence, and driving demand for products and services across target markets. This leader will partner and coach a team, ensuring accountability, innovation, and performance optimization while overseeing priorities, resources, and execution.

Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Own the build-out of marketing at Velsera as its dedicated leader
  • Establish and champion Velsera’s corporate brand identity, messaging, and visual standards across all marketing channels and touchpoints
  • Identify and execute omni-channel marketing campaigns (digital, email, social media, events, content) to promote products and services
  • Partner closely with Sales in managing leads, nurturing prospects, rigorously vetting, and forwarding qualified leads

Event & Thought Leadership

  • Identify key industry tradeshows and forums for Velsera’s participation
  • Coordinate planning and execution of events, collaborating with subject matter experts

Content & Demand Generation

  • Develop white papers, case studies, and thought leadership materials for lead generation
  • Collaborate with internal teams on content strategy and execution

Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience (preferably in healthcare or scientific software)
  • 5+ years leading teams in marketing or commercial functions
  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation marketing
  • Expertise in planning and executing corporate events, tradeshows, and conferences (vendor relationships, logistics, logistics)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience developing white papers, thought leadership content, and demand materials with subject matter experts
