The Director, Marketing (ARTD) leads the ARTD business growth strategy across Europe, delivering high-impact execution aligned with category priorities—focusing on the most critical markets.
Operating within a networked system, this role collaborates closely with country teams, bottlers, and cross-functional stakeholders to scale growth models and ensure consistent commercial delivery against category objectives. Reporting to the Senior Director, the director ensures alignment between portfolio priorities, commercial levers, and local execution while steering long-term value creation for the ARTD category.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field)
- 8–12 years of commercial or marketing experience
- Proven track record in multi-market growth execution
- Strategic thinking: Ability to translate macro trends into market playbooks
- Strong stakeholder influence across networked, regulated environments
- Adept at laws, regulations, and responsible marketing practices
- Digital fluency: Proficiency in Google Analytics, Tableau, Microsoft BI, SQL
What You’ll Do
1. Category Strategy Deployment
Markets with clear strategic focus
- Translate European ARTD category strategy into actionable market playbooks.
- Define and apply market archetypes to guide priorities and resource allocation.
- Identify growth opportunities and provide insights to refine strategy.

Drive product strategy
- Ensure consistent brand roles across European markets.
- Scale innovations and monitor market performance for pipeline adjustments.
- Partner with bottlers to execute high-impact market-based activations.
3. Growth & Commercial Activation
Commercial levers for execution
- Define and deploy commercial frameworks tailored to market/bottler needs.
- Focus RGM, channel alignment, and availability shifts for ARTD category wins.
- Lead joint business planning sessions with markets for disciplined delivery.
4. Marketing Execution Excellence
Best-in-class brand activations
- Oversee integrated marketing execution across ARTD brands.
- Optimise DME investments for commercial impact.
- Champion social-first, occasion-based, and localised marketing models.
5. System Collaboration & Capability Building
Bridging global/local
- Share insights and best practices across country teams and bottlers.
- Strengthen marketing and commercial capabilities for long-term excellence.
- Connect cross-functional partners to accelerate aligned execution.

6. Governance, Risk & Compliance
Safeguard execution
- Ensure compliance with alcohol marketing regulations, brand safety, and responsible practices.
- Partner with Legal, Public Affairs, and technical teams to mitigate reputational risks.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay: €75,800 - €115,000 (London base + dependent on factors including market match).
- *Annual bonus: 30% (performance-based, adjusted at target).

Travel
Flexible but ~10%–15% Europe-wide occasions expected.
