New Business & Marketing Director
Position: New Business & Marketing Director
Location: London (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)
Reporting to: CGO
Direct reports: Team of 2
The agency is in an unprecedented period of growth, having recently been named in both the Sunday Times 100 (fastest growing private companies in the UK) and the FEBE growth 100.
This role combines new business leadership, pipeline management, pitch delivery, agency marketing and team development.
You will:
- Own and deliver the annual new business revenue target
- Manage the full pipeline from lead generation through to close
- Qualify prospects, maintain accurate forecasts and drive follow-up
- Lead RFIs, RFPs, tenders, credentials requests and pitch processes
- Define target sectors, ideal clients and priority prospects with the CGO
- Oversee lead generation activity, partners and the prospect database
- Lead agency marketing across social, email, website, PR, awards, events and thought leadership
- Maintain high-quality credentials, case studies and pitch materials
- Manage the new business and marketing budget, focusing spend on activity that generates revenue
- Lead, develop and motivate a Marketing Manager and New Business Executive

About you
You will be a commercially driven new business or growth leader with experience converting relationships, reputation and targeted outreach into revenue.
You should have:
- A proven track record of owning and achieving an annual new business revenue target
- Experience working within a creative, marketing, advertising, experiential, media or communications agency
- Strong experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through to pitch and close
- Experience leading RFIs, RFPs, tenders and major pitch processes
- Strong pipeline management, CRM and revenue forecasting skills
- Confidence presenting to and building relationships with senior and C-suite stakeholders
- Experience managing, developing and motivating a team
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- A genuine interest in brands, culture, youth audiences and Gen Z
