We are partnering with a leading UK corporate and investment banking platform to appoint a Director within its Media & Technology Corporate Coverage team.
This is a high-profile, growth-focused role with significant visibility across a diverse portfolio of UK and international corporates.

The Opportunity
This position sits within a well-established sector coverage team responsible for managing relationships with large corporates (typically >£100m turnover, many >£500m turnover), including FTSE-listed businesses, global multinationals, and sponsor-backed companies.
The platform has built strong momentum in the TMT space and is investing further to strengthen its coverage of Media & Technology clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping sector strategy, deepening client engagement, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop strategic relationships with a portfolio of Media & Technology clients
- Deliver the full suite of corporate banking solutions, including lending, liquidity, and risk management products
- Identify and execute revenue opportunities across Investment Grade, Leveraged Finance, and Infrastructure transactions
- Provide sector insight and thought leadership, maintaining a deep understanding of market trends and client dynamics
- Coordinate deal execution internally, working closely with product specialists, credit, risk, and execution teams
- Originate new business opportunities and contribute to broader sector growth initiatives
- Lead and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and performance
Candidate Profile

- Demonstrable experience in corporate banking or relationship management, with exposure to large-cap clients in the UK
- Strong credit and financial analysis capability, with experience structuring and executing transactions
- Deep understanding of the Media & Technology sector, including key themes and market drivers
- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and deliver commercial outcomes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring colleagues
- Strong understanding of governance and regulatory frameworks within corporate banking

My client is interested in suitable VP level candidates who are ready to step up to Director level, as well as Director level candidates from product areas (Leveraged Finance, DCM, M&A, etc) who want to move into coverage.
