About The Role
Reporting into the Global Head of NetDev you will Own the performance, growth, and strategic health of Paysend’s payments network across EU, Americas, and LATAM managing our most critical banking partners, PSPs and processors across three continents. Your mandate: hunt new strategic corridors, drive RM excellence with existing partners, and unlock direct access to local schemes where applicable.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Support the entire end to end lifecycle of Network requirements to launch
- Own the full partner lifecycle across EU/Americas/LATAM: from sourcing and negotiation to go-live and optimisation
- Manage Strategic PSP, wallet and Banking relationships
- Lead commercial and technical evaluation for direct participation into local payment schemes** like RTR, SPEI, etc.
- Identify gaps in coverage, cost, or UX and hunt new banking partners, PSPs, and local rails to close them
- Negotiate pricing, SLAs, contract terms, and new product access with partners
- Implement the global RM excellence framework in-region: QBRs, partner scorecards, escalation paths, health dashboards
- Drive partner performance: cost per transaction, auth rates, uptime, FX, success rates, settlement speed
- Act as senior escalation point for Tier-1 regional partners and unblock operational issues
- Ensure all regional partnerships meet Regulatory, Compliance, Legal, and Treasury requirements
- Feed regional market intel back into the Network prioritisation process
- Partner with the Network Product team** across Pyin, Payout, Banking and regulatory
- Translate partner capabilities into product Specs and RFIs
- Contribute to the *Network-led prioritisation process and help funnel company priorities into the regional network roadmap
- Own regional network P&L impact: deliver annual cost savings and routing optimisation targets
- Represent Paysend at regional scheme forums, partner summits, and industry events

What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role
Essential qualifications
- 8+ years in payments/fintech/banking with 3+ years managing strategic partners in EU, US, or LATAM
- Direct experience negotiating with banks, PSPs, processors regionally
- Knowledge of key regional rails, schemes and wallets
- Proven commercial negotiator: pricing, contracts, SLAs, technical requirements
- Experience working with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Treasury teams
- Strong existing network across regional payments ecosystem
- Experience building and leading RM/Partnership Director teams globally
- Experience with EMI/PI licensing, safeguarding, or correspondent banking
- Background in remittance, acquiring, issuing, or B2B payments
- Ability to negotiate a deal and read an API doc
- Be available to travel
