Finance Transformation Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Specialist with a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting who is passionate about leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to modernize finance functions.
The business is one of the fastest growing PE backed global tech firms.
This role combines deep financial expertise with digital transformation capabilities to redesign finance processes, improve decision-making, automate routine activities, and enable data-driven finance organizations across large, complex enterprises.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in finance leadership and a proven track record of delivering transformation initiatives involving AI, automation, advanced analytics, and enterprise technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end finance transformation programmes from strategy through to implementation.
- Assess current finance operating models and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, governance, and business value through AI and intelligent automation.
- Design future-state finance processes across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, Tax, and Compliance.
- Develop AI use cases that enhance forecasting, financial reporting, anomaly detection, risk management, cost optimization, and executive decision support.
- Evaluate and implement AI technologies, machine learning solutions, robotic process automation (RPA), generative AI, and intelligent workflow platforms.
- Improve finance data quality, governance, and reporting capabilities to support AI-enabled decision making.
- Build business cases demonstrating measurable ROI from finance transformation investments.
- Drive organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of new digital capabilities.
- Coach finance teams in developing AI literacy and adopting modern ways of working.
- Monitor emerging AI technologies and industry trends to continuously evolve finance capabilities.

Required Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- 8–15+ years of experience in corporate finance, finance transformation, management consulting, or shared services.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale finance transformation programmes.
- Experience implementing ERP systems and enterprise finance technologies.
- Practical knowledge of AI, Generative AI, machine learning, process mining, intelligent automation, and data analytics within finance.
- Strong understanding of finance data models, governance, and analytics platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
