Director of AI | Remote (Client travel) | Up to £150,000
Peaple Talent have partnered with a growing consultancy looking for an experienced AI Director to help shape and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions for major clients.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining AI engineering, consulting, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll lead high-performing teams, guide clients through AI strategy and delivery, and build scalable AI/ML and agentic solutions in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Leading AI delivery across multiple client projects
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior technical & business stakeholders
- Designing and deploying production-ready AI/ML solutions
- Driving engineering best practice across MLOps, CI/CD, observability & responsible AI
- Mentoring engineers and helping grow a high-performing AI capability
- Working with modern cloud & data platforms including Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.

Requirements
- A strong Python engineering background
- Proven experience delivering AI solutions into production
- Excellent consulting, communication & workshop facilitation skills
- Experience leading engineering teams and influencing senior stakeholders
- Passion for emerging AI technologies, LLMs & agentic frameworks
