Fund Services | 6-figure salary plus substantial earnings potential | UK - fully remote

I'm working with a fast-growing, private equity–backed fund services business to appoint an experienced business developer to lead growth across the UK market.

The firm operates at the heart of the investment management ecosystem, providing specialist governance and related services to asset managers facing increasing regulatory and operational complexity.

This is a genuine “build and own” role - a chance to really make your mark.

The role

You will be the senior commercial lead for the UK, responsible for originating and converting new business opportunities across the investment management and broader fund services community.

Your focus will be on:

  • Opening doors and creating commercial opportunities with asset managers and fund initiators
  • Building senior, trust-based relationships with key intermediaries (legal, advisory, administration, depositary and other service providers)
  • Navigating complex, multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales processes
  • Converting pipeline into long-term, high-value client relationships

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will work closely with specialist colleagues in Europe and other locations to shape and present tailored solutions, while operating with significant autonomy in the UK market.

  • Professional services, legal, accounting or advisory focused on investment management clients

What matters most is that you can demonstrate:

  • A proven record of winning business in or into the investment management / fund services ecosystem
  • An established, active network across asset managers, fund initiators and key influencers (corporate law firms, Big Four, fund administrators, depositaries, consultants and related players)
  • Commercial credibility with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
