This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract based out of our Nottingham Support Office
As the Director of Category Marketing and Planning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy and driving impactful initiatives that resonate with our communities across the UK and Ireland.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will lead the development and execution of category marketing strategies that not only elevate our brand but also enhance customer engagement and loyalty. You will be responsible for driving innovation and ensuring that our marketing efforts align with our business objectives. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to delivering care, confidence, and connection, making a tangible difference in the lives of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, own and implement comprehensive category marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance customer experience.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Analyse market trends and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and optimise marketing planning and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of marketing plans that support business objectives.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using insights to drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need To Have
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, within a retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Experience of working across all marketing channels including advertising and production, digital (performance) and print marketing, content marketing, in store and social media and influencer marketing.
- Experience in leading successful marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong commercial focus, leveraging data and market insights to optimise campaign profitability and drive measurable revenue and customer growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Proven ability to lead marketing transformation and deliver impactful new initiatives that drive growth and brand performance.
