About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead the successful delivery of major data centre construction projects across London and the South East. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing complex, high-value projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially astute construction leader with extensive experience delivering mission-critical facilities and managing multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data centre construction projects.
  • Provide strategic leadership to project teams, ensuring programme, cost, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive project performance through effective planning, risk management, and commercial oversight.
  • Oversee procurement strategies, contract administration, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers and wider delivery teams.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
