Our Construction & Procurement team excels in advice and representation for construction disputes and procurement law. We assist:
- Main contractors & sub-contractors
- Public bodies & private sector clients
in all aspects of construction & engineering contracts, claims, and disputes. Additionally, we provide:
- Public sector procurement services, including legally sound and cost-effective procurement strategies for public bodies.
- Support to suppliers in successful tendering.
- Challenges to unlawful procurement processes.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Director, you will:
- Lead and manage the construction and procurement law team in London, driving high performance and excellence.
- Overseer and conduct complex construction and procurement litigation, dispute resolution, and advisory work.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm’s impact within the industry.
- Contribute strategic input to firm-wide planning.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality legal work aligned with client needs and industry best practice.
Key Areas of Focus:
- Contentious and non-contentious construction or procurement law matters.
- Construction dispute management, including:
- Mediation, conciliation, arbitration, adjudications
- Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) & court proceedings
- Contract drafting, negotiation, and advice
- Dispute avoidance & contract management
- Claims analysis & negotiation

Requirements
- 10+ years’ post-qualification experience with a strong background in construction and procurement law.
- Proven litigation experience, particularly managing and resolving high-stakes disputes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team development, motivation, and management.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, forward-thinking approach, committed to excellence.
