Candles & Oud is an established luxury fragrance brand specializing in rare Oud-based products sourced globally over the past 15 years. The company creates premium candles, reed diffusers, parfums, body lotions, beard oils, soaps, bath bombs, and hand sanitizers. Its parfum collections are blended to the highest standards, drawing inspiration from cities around the world. Candles & Oud is focused on sharing its fragrance craftsmanship with a growing international audience and expanding its presence in the luxury lifestyle market.

Role Description

The Director of Corporate Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London, responsible for driving corporate revenue growth and expanding Candles & Oud’s presence in key markets. This role oversees the corporate sales strategy, including:

The Director will lead and mentor the sales team, monitor performance, and ensure consistent execution of sales processes and customer relationship management. Daily activities include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Building long-term partnerships
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Collaborating with marketing and operations to align sales initiatives with brand objectives

This position also involves forecasting, reporting on sales results, and providing strategic input to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding corporate revenue targets.
  • Strong Team Leadership and Team Management skills, including experience coaching, motivating, and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Proficiency in Business Planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and building strategic sales plans for B2B and corporate channels.
  • Experience in the luxury goods, fragrance, beauty, or lifestyle sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with corporate and retail partners.
  • Ability to work on-site in Greater London and travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  • Comfort with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is an asset.
