The Role
As Director of Data, you will lead the organisation's enterprise data and analytics agenda, ensuring data becomes a strategic asset across the business.

Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and delivering the enterprise data strategy aligned to business objectives.
- Establishing a roadmap for analytics, data management and AI maturity.
- Leading data governance initiatives to improve data quality, ownership and accountability.
- Creating consistent reporting frameworks and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Driving adoption of analytics and business intelligence across the organisation.
- Translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to improve efficiency and deliver commercial value.
- Leading advanced analytics and data science initiatives where appropriate.
- Managing and developing multiple teams across analytics, data and strategic insights functions.
- Building strong relationships across a complex stakeholder landscape and influencing at executive level.

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership experience within Data & Analytics, Data & Insights, Business Intelligence or related functions.
- Proven experience operating within large, complex or matrixed organisations.
- Strong commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence and strategic insights.
- Experience leading advanced analytics, data science or AI-focused teams.
- Expertise in developing and implementing data strategies and governance frameworks.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience building high-performing teams and fostering a data-driven culture.
