Build the Data Capability for a High-Growth Consumer Brand
A fast-scaling, international consumer business is entering a significant phase of growth and transformation.
With a rapidly expanding global footprint, including new retail openings in the US and continued international expansion, the organisation is investing heavily in technology, data and leadership capability to support its next stage of scale.
Technology is a key strategic enabler of this growth, and data sits at the heart of the transformation.
We are now seeking a Director of Data to define and lead the organisation’s data strategy, build scalable data capabilities and establish a truly connected, insight-led business.
Working closely with the executive leadership team, including the CFO and incoming CTO, you will play a central role in shaping how data is used across the organisation to drive commercial performance, operational efficiency and customer experience.
The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the organisation’s data vision, architecture and capability build-out.
You will lead the creation of a modern, scalable data ecosystem that connects eCommerce, retail, CRM, finance and operational systems into a single, trusted source of truth.
The business is actively simplifying its technology landscape, moving away from fragmented legacy systems towards a more integrated and scalable architecture. Data will be a critical enabler of this transformation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
