Role Overview
We are now seeking an ambitious and visionary Director of Data Compliance and Evaluation. This is a pivotal leadership role that ensures Kingston University fulfils its statutory responsibilities, enhances the quality and integrity of its data, and drives institution-wide insight. Reporting to the University Secretary, you will lead a talented multidisciplinary team spanning statutory data returns, institutional performance, and the student voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Lead a talented multidisciplinary team spanning statutory data returns, institutional performance, and the student voice.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively across the University.
- Statutory Data: Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of statutory data.
- Analytics: Use analytics effectively to support decision-making and evaluate impact.
- Data Insight: Develop a coherent, institution-wide approach to understanding and actioning up student data and insight.
- Regulatory Compliance: Have a good understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment and the role of data in underpinning strong performance in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and meeting the requirements of the Access and Participation Plan (APP).
- Policy Shaping: As a member of the Senior Leadership Executive, contribute to shaping policy, guiding institutional performance, and ensuring the factors underpinning an exceptional student experience and strong student outcomes are understood, championed, and acted upon.
