Director of Data Science & Machine Learning

Director of Machine Learning We’re looking for a Director of ML who can build from scratch, go deep technically, and hire and mentor a small, extremely strong team. This is a hands-on leadership role. What you’ll do Own the ML roadmap end to end, from problem definition to production. Design and ship recommendation systems and other core ML products. Start very hands-on: prototype, code, and iterate quickly. Hire and grow a high‑ownership ML team. Raise the technical bar (architecture, reviews, standards, strategy). What you’ll bring Strong ML engineering background with production systems at scale. Experience in recommender systems, pricing, ads, or similar domains. Clear zero‑to‑one experience (founder/early stage or building new ML products/teams). Track record in fast‑paced, high‑ownership startups. Why Almedia?
