About the Role

Following our recent public listing and continued growth, Appear’s ambitious commercial plans are being driven by an elevated Marketing and Communications division. We’re now seeking a Director of Demand Generation to build, own, and scale a global demand function—a results-based role with direct ownership of Marketing Sourced Pipeline and Marketing Influenced Pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and orchestrate a global demand generation strategy across all channels:

    • Digital & paid media
    • Content & SEO
    • Events (virtual & in-person)
    • Social media
    • Webinars
    • Outbound campaigns
  • Build connected customer journeys tailored to enterprise buyers, accelerating conversion and driving measurable pipeline growth.

  • Set, own, and execute campaign performance metrics, including:

    • Lead quality & conversion rates
    • CPL (Cost Per Lead)
    • ROI & revenue contribution
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment with commercial priorities:

    • Sales
    • Product Marketing
    • Marketing Operations
    • Agency partners
  • Maximise the impact of marketing technology and data-driven insights (HubSpot, Salesforce) to optimise results.

  • Lead and drive consistency across the demand generation function, aligning partners and sales stakeholders to achieve growth goals.


What We’re Looking For

We need a hands-on, action-oriented, commercially driven thinker with: ✔ A track record of building demand in fast-moving B2B spaces (Saas, IT, media, corporates, etc.) ✔ Strategic execution skills with proven results in pipeline growth ✔ Experience partnerships and alignment with Sales and marketing operations ✔ A data-driven mindset and expertise leveraging marketing tools like HubSpot/Salesforce
