At IRIS, our workplaces play a critical role in how our colleagues collaborate, innovate, and succeed. We're looking for an experienced Director of Facilities to lead the strategic and operational management of our multi-site property portfolio, ensuring our offices remain safe, compliant, cost-effective, and exceptional places to work.

This is a highly visible leadership role, partnering closely with the Executive Team and senior stakeholders across the business to develop and deliver our workplace strategy. You'll lead facilities operations, property management, health and safety, supplier relationships, and major projects across our estate while driving continuous improvement and enhancing the colleague experience.

What you'll be doing

As Director of Facilities, you'll be responsible for the leadership and oversight of all facilities, property, and workplace services across our locations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering the facilities and workplace strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Leading the management of our property portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and value for money.
  • Ensuring all offices operate to the highest standards of health and safety, environmental compliance, governance, and risk management.
  • Managing key supplier and landlord relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and driving service improvements.
  • Leading refurbishment, fit-out, relocation, and workplace transformation projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Partnering with Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, and business leaders to ensure facilities services support organisational priorities.
  • Managing budgets, financial planning, forecasting, and cost-control activities across the estate.
  • Driving workplace innovation, sustainability initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
  • Using data, technology, and AI-enabled tools to improve service delivery, reporting, and decision making.
  • Leading, developing, and coaching facilities teams while building strong succession and capability plans.
  • Presenting property, facilities, and financial updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
