Director of Finance Role
BFBS is now seeking an exceptional Director of Finance to join its Executive Leadership Team at a significant moment in the organisation's development.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Finance will lead financial strategy, governance, risk management and the control environment, ensuring the organisation remains financially resilient and well positioned for the future. This is a broad and influential leadership role that extends beyond traditional finance responsibilities to encompass commercial oversight, strategic business partnering and the advancement of data-led and AI-enabled financial capabilities.

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the successful candidate will help shape organisational strategy and provide the Board and senior leadership team with insightful financial leadership and commercial judgement. The role presents an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished finance leader with experience at Finance Director or CFO level, ideally gained within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. Experience in regulated, public sector, defence, media or not-for-profit organisations would be advantageous.
